Nhhhhhh!

[A medium pitched whine is what opens the feed up today, big yellow eyes frowning childishly into the screen. That is definitely Vanitas' face, but he's looking a little... off. While the face hogs the screen, there's a continuous sound of metal clashing on metal in the background, but Vanitas doesn't seem to be paying any attention to it. Instead, he's starting to make a few silly faces!

Crossing his eyes and sticking out his tongue, then wiggling his eyebrows and blowing a raspberry, he's just amusing the hell out of himself, judging from the chittering chuckles. Jerking with a surprised yelp a moment later though, there's a large puff of smoke with the gear clattering on the ground.

Black and red streaks away before Vanitas is picking up the gear again with a very solid scowl.]

Little shit, using my face to look like an idiot...

[Going to rub his face a little, still mildly annoyed.]

It's a special ability for any Zorua. They're fox Pokemon that can disguise themselves perfectly, but mine forgets to hide his tail half the time.

[ Okay hold on. Aradia has to get out her binder and her red pen. She's just...going to note that down. Admittedly it's probably in the pokedex, but. Give her a second. ]

Zorua...I hadn't heard of that one yet! I think he's got faces down, at least.

[Taking the time to write it down has Vanitas squinting briefly, before puffing out a sigh.] He's got everything but his tail down. Rue used to be unable to change his eye color for a while too, but it looks like he got that finally this time.

[Looking aside, Vani scowls again a bit sharply.]

Just where do you think you're going in that form?

[The camera might not be able to see for a moment, but with the trainer moving quick, eventually the feed focuses on two faces; one that might be far more recognizable.]

Can you not take Karkat's appearance? Quit being a shit and drop the illusion! [Scuse them, Aradia. Just a little bit of wrestling going on while Vanitas subdues his whining Zorua in the shape of his boyfriend.]

[ Oh, she might have had a few more questions about the pokemon, but seeing Karkat on screen startles her out of remembering what she'd been about to say. ]

Ka - oh, it's an illusion? [ Well there was a distinct lack of noise, which Karkat usually...makes...

[With enough tussling, the Zorua finally poofs back to his natural little black and red form, huff and puffing. Since the little turd is too tired out to do much more than lump there in his lap, Vanitas finally leans back with a grunted sigh.]

The illusion is real enough that even when you touch one in disguise, they feel how they look too. Yeah, I know Karkat. Is he from your world?

Yes! [ Here, have a happy smile. She has plenty of those to go around. ] We were coplayers in the game! You're a friend of his, too?

Coplayers? So you're a troll. [Interesting, she's certainly more smiley than any other troll he's ever met. At "friend" though, he can't help a quirked smile.]
