Hey. Network, I need some ideas, I guess.

[There's a bit of a pause, hesitating, but it eventually.. awkwardly comes out.]

Is there something special I'm supposed to get Karkat for Christmas? Or am I supposed to treat it like just another gift giving holiday? And if you know him well enough, what kind of Pokemon do you think he would like that he doesn't already have.

[This is why this is audio only. He was tempted to use text, but that would be easier to hack, so audio it is........ ~~not like this isn't really easy to hack, but he knows well enough that Karkat can't hack things for shit~~.]

I wasn't "born" with a face. Since I've returned to Ventus, I should no longer have a face to wear.

Well I don't really think of it as mine, since it is different...

But he wouldn't have known, Vanitas. This was a young Xehanort. Not the guy that did the bad stuff.

[.... It's hard to imagine Master with hair.] How young?

He didn't look that much older than me.

I think he really was using Vanitas' appearance to confuse you.

Like Vanitas, I'm confident he's here. We...belong together, and we became one heart again before I joined you.

He couldn't, Ven. Xemnas and Xigbar both said they couldn't put anything into my head. And a Xehanort that hadn't left the island wouldn't have known what Vanitas looked like.

My heart's inside you, and you're connected through me. I think that would've been enough. Roxas isn't inside of me, but he resembles me, because I'm connected to you. It's probably the same thing.

That'd still mean it's because of you that Vanitas showed up in my dreams.

Not Xehanort.

I mean, that makes the most sense to me. When I thought I saw Riku and Kairi in that dream, they turned into Terra and Aqua is what I'm going to guess.

I think Xehanort can be incredibly deceptive, even when he's getting exactly what he wants. So I wouldn't trust anything that he has to say.

Ultimately, I know it has at least some part to do with us being connected. I'm not trying to say it doesn't, but I won't discount that he could've intended something about what happened.

What he said to me definitely was intended. The times he showed up were a part of his plan. The rest of it? I kinda find that hard to believe.

It's really easy to blame him for it, but the truth is I followed my heart. What he said to me before I really fell asleep wasn't a lie. I kinda figured out that stuff already. I know he's not a guy to trust, but he's still a bad guy.

They always blab about their plans and stuff.

My experiences with him are different from yours, Sora. The things he put Terra and Aqua through, the harm he's caused... I'm really glad Riku was there so none of that happened to you.

[And he means that, sincerely. What little he was able to do himself would've been useless without Riku, and Xehanort's more powerful than he likes to admit.

The prospect is...worrying]

I know you'll believe what you want about him, about his plan. But up until he really thought you couldn't get away, I wouldn't put a lot of stock into what he said. His talk about a Keyblade War - that's consistent with what I know. He called me and Vanitas a failed attempt, and we were.

He wants that battle, so I believe those words. The rest I can't depend on, but it's what's ahead that we have to worry about anyway.

I dunno. It's all pretty consistent to me. Organization XIII meant to be the thirteen darknesses? Putting his heart into other people?

Kind of... All true, you know.

But yeah. We're still a few lights short.

Yeah, that's when he seemed to think he had you in the bag. I don't think he would've mentioned rounding up people if he didn't want it to happen, and I'm betting he's not going to do it himself.

[After all, he already did his own collecting for Team Darkness]

Aqua's strong, and she's a Master. Between her and me, she's most important.

[ no. really. dreams are dreams and thinking about if Xehanort really did fill his head with stuff is kind of pointless now anyway. that stuff's over and Xehanort got almost everything he wanted from that. ]

Ventus. You're both equally important, stupid.

[Ven's invested plenty of time considering the parts he was able to see, especially because of the crazy old coot involved. But people get enough headaches from Disney without intentionally bringing about more]

I think she'd be a lot of help to you guys though. She promised she'd wake me up, and I know she will when she can. But she had the Mark, and Terra and I haven't earned it yet. That means something - it's what Master saw in her.
