31 // video ; backdated to earlier in the day, like.. noon?

[Today's feed takes place in the dark, or at least, it's dark until the curtain opens just enough from the breeze of the open window, to blind viewers. The light didn't blind just those watching though, because there's a tired, cranky sounding groan emitting from someone nearby. Once the light meter in the screen peters out to normal, it's easier to see that the gear is on the floor, and there are a couple bodies nearby.

Sure, the Pokemon had gotten up and left their trainers by now to sleep, but... well. This is the result of a Swablu being told to sing to put Vanitas to sleep. There's a hand groggily patting around until it lands on the gear, and it's dragged slowly across the floor.. until lifted and there's Vanitas, one eye closed tight and the other squinting.

Needing to pull it back to actually see what time it is, it reveals that there's a head of dark hair tucked at Vanitas' shoulder. With his thumb over the red light, unfortunately, Vanitas is none the wiser to the feed recording.. but then again, he still looks a bit disgruntled when he see's what time it is. Shoving a bit at the sleeping figure on him, Vanitas drops his hand with the gear back to the floor.]

Karkat.. wake up. It's freaking noon..

[While it's hard to see, there's a disgruntled sound coming from the once troll, an arm lifting and a middle finger extended. Growling, Vanitas lifts his hand with the gear in it and lightly smacks Karkat in the back, ending the feed.]

[Grunting, he shifts and squirms a little, seeing if he can get free and nope. That is pure Karkat weight on his shoulder and across his body, pinning him down. Tossing his gear a bit and reaching, he lightly flicks Karkat's ear.] It's noon, we're getting up. Slept all night.

[ nope. hugging his pillow tighter and mumbling a fuck you under his breath. ]

I'm not a pillow. [Snorting at the tighter cling, Vanitas shifts again, but in the end gives up; he's actually fairly comfortable. Karkat isn't all that heavy.]

Could've fooled me. You been snacking on the ice cream lately? Seriously, I think I feel some squish down here.

So you know you're clinging to me and you're awake. [Just stating what's going on. Once he can get up, he'll be working vigorously to burn off whatever that squish is that Karkat is talking about though..]

No, I haven't eaten any since we had it when you woke up.

For an hourish. You've been using me for the last ten. [Stretching a little beneath him, Vanitas gave up on trying to get up. Reaching and ruffling the dark hair tucked at his shoulder, he snorted.] Also, I haven't had any ice cream since that day when you woke up.

[ Karkat then stretches with a sigh. and gets up. ]

I don't want to turn into some fat kid who can't walk up a flight of stairs without wheezing.

[Lifting his hand and hesitating a moment, Vanitas lets his hand drop without doing anything but blinking from his place on the floor.]

[ grunting, Karkat goes to stand. shower.... he needs one. ]

Yeah, but I'm already slower than I used to be, I can feel it.

[Letting him go, Vanitas picks himself up into sitting up and idly rubs his shoulder where Karkat had just been sleeping, quiet.]

[ Karkat rolls his eyes, slipping into the shower and tossing the shirt out the door before closing it. ]

[The response comes a few hours later after he's showered and eaten and -- what the?! WHY IS THERE AT NETWORK POST OF HIM HALF ASLEEP?!?

Hand over his face from where he was smacking himself, Vanitas has got a bit of red on his cheeks when he grunts out an answer.]

I didn't know till now that this was plastered all over the network for people to see. Not so much that we were sleeping, but being seen like that is.. [Pausing, he wants to say 'private', but Vanitas is caught in a moment of wondering why he wants to say that. They were just sleeping, and it's not like it's anything else.
