Ventus, I got your package today. Carriers apologized about it being late.. [Pausing a moment, he lets out a sighed breath, a small smile creeping onto his face anyway.] It looks good.



[There's a moment with purple streaking across the screen, paws hitting the Gear and unlocking it for the rest of the network to see; Vanitas petting a very affectionate Purrloin on his shoulder with a red ribbon tied around the kitty's neck, smiling a bit more openly.]

Nitas, don't jump up like that. I was done talking anyway.. impatient.

[Turning his attention back to the Gear, he clears his throat.]

Thanks, Ventus.

[.... o o p s, he didn't know the call unlocked. Well, either way, he's hanging up now, so the feed clicks off.]

There's no way of winning this argument, because he didn't look at the gear before letting it record. Nitas, sensing her trainer giving up, proceeds to smoosh her body along his face then. Snorting cat hair, Vani half shoos the feline back onto his shoulder.]

Smiling also puts other nubjobs at ease too, though fuck if I know why. Makes them feel better.

[ Karkat shrugs. he's now starting to brush his Espeon. ]

I don't like sharing them with strangers. [His smiles, he means. Moving to plop a seat at the end of the bed, Vani lets the Purrloin climb down and bounce over to curiously inspect the Espeon.]

[ Karkat stares at the two beasts and shakes his head. whatever man. Leopold just curls his tail around Nitas and that's that. ]
