I was starting to think I'd seen it all, and then this... world throws me a curve ball.

[He can't really imagine how Roxas would feel if Sora treated him like a monster to shrink away from. Even though Vanitas didn't have an individual form back then, it's still rejection, and Ven thinks he understands that]

[He is heartened by the fact that it might make Vanitas feel a little better. Knowing what he does now, Vanitas must've been pretty lonely and unhappy in their world.

[Quiet for a few moments longer, he still didn't turn his attention back to the screen when he spoke.]

[He's quiet for a few moments, not quite sure what to say about that]

I guess so. [Lowering his eyes slightly, it took a few more moments, but Vanitas finally turned his eyes to the screen again.]

[It really is a sincere question; he's not sure if he's understanding what Vanitas is saying to him]

[There's just a silent nod, accepting the apology, but still.. this part of the conversation has just been a bit draining. Talking about ~*~feelings~*~ is not his strong suit at all. Clearing his throat finally and looking away, almost as if he's ashamed of having said that, Vanitas shifts the subject.]

What other Pokemon seem weak but grow into larger ones?

Other- oh, well, there're several of them that I know of. Especially the ones that start off in "baby" forms, they have really low stats and get stronger as they grow up.

What are they called? [Any topic is better than what they were just on.]
