I was starting to think I'd seen it all, and then this... world throws me a curve ball.

[Swing goes the feed and -- wat.]

I don't even... see how this works. Ice cream is food. So why is it staring at me and chirping?

[He can't really imagine how Roxas would feel if Sora treated him like a monster to shrink away from. Even though Vanitas didn't have an individual form back then, it's still rejection, and Ven thinks he understands that]

It's the reason we were separated in the first place. [It's not an accusation, just a reflection on the words.. but really, it's the last sentences that make him turn his eyes from the screen.]

[He is heartened by the fact that it might make Vanitas feel a little better. Knowing what he does now, Vanitas must've been pretty lonely and unhappy in their world.

[Quiet for a few moments longer, he still didn't turn his attention back to the screen when he spoke.]

I wanted to kill you for rejecting me. I remember telling Master that he couldn't keep us both if he wanted you alive.

[He's quiet for a few moments, not quite sure what to say about that]

I guess...you're the reason I met the people I did.

[Trying to find silver lining? Sure he is]

I guess so. [Lowering his eyes slightly, it took a few more moments, but Vanitas finally turned his eyes to the screen again.]

I didn't like it when he took you away though. [Lonely and indecisive and after breaking enough rocks in the Keyblade Graveyard.]

...So you didn't want me around, but you also wanted me around?

[It really is a sincere question; he's not sure if he's understanding what Vanitas is saying to him]

Mm. [It's... really difficult for him to spit the next few words out, but when they do come, they're almost inaudible.]

[And it takes him a few moments to actually pick out what was just said to him.

[There's just a silent nod, accepting the apology, but still.. this part of the conversation has just been a bit draining. Talking about ~*~feelings~*~ is not his strong suit at all. Clearing his throat finally and looking away, almost as if he's ashamed of having said that, Vanitas shifts the subject.]

What other Pokemon seem weak but grow into larger ones?

Other- oh, well, there're several of them that I know of. Especially the ones that start off in "baby" forms, they have really low stats and get stronger as they grow up.

What are they called? [Any topic is better than what they were just on.]

Cleffa, Igglybuff, Azurill, Magby, Elekid...oh, there's Togepi too. What else...

Hm. What types are they? I don't recognize any of the names. [He might know a few by sight from network posts though.]

Cleffa, Igglybuff, and Togepi are Normal types. Azurill's Water, Magby is Fire, and Elekid is Electric.

Are their final forms really strong? [Might be interested in a water or electric type....]

I'd say they're pretty strong, like anything else that goes through three stages of evolution.

[His only encounter with a three stage evolution Pokemon is Dartanian, so yep. Strong.]

I'll have to look into them. I need a few types to fill out my team, and if they're really that strong, then I want to use them.
