[That's really the only warning anyone is getting, but those in Ecruteak will be hearing some chaos at the PokeCenter. One of the bed rest patients has escaped the room, and is apparently darting through the hallways to gather his things before leaving. These items include his clothing (because this gown is the most disgusting thing ever), his Pokemon, and whatever supplies he can thieve from the easy access, behind the counter potions, antidotes, awakenings... the entire gist.

Feel like stopping him? Vanitas can be found making a wheezing break for the front door with a very large, heavy set man in a nurse outfit chasing after him. It seems he's encountered the Ecruteak version of Nurse Tank!

Er. Encountered and is now running for a door instead of the window he would get dragged out of.

Yeah.

Vanitas will manage to escape after some shenanigans, smokescreens and cartwheeling over large nurses, and make a bee-line towards... the burnt tower. If anyone would like to find him a few hours after this text, that is indeed where he shall be! Hanging out in the very bottom floor (after nearly falling through rotten wood, whoops), he's clearing as much of a 'living space' as he can get.]

[ oh but there's a very happy Minun scampering towards him into the tower, followed by a much more cautious Asuka. He remembers you as that other Minun owner, Vanitas. ]

[While Vanitas himself looks a bit ragged and is honestly surprised there's someone else here, he lets his own Minun down from his shoulder to greet the other halfway. Murkrow and Swablu are more than content to perch in the rafters, while a black and purple blob of Misdreavus hovers nearby...

It's something of a hike down for people, so do be careful up there Asuka.]

[ Asuka is certainly watching her step, but it's a good ten minutes or so before she makes her way down there with her Ninetales lighting the way. Croissant is already cheerfully greeting his fellow Minun. ]

[The woman is vaguely familiar, recognizing her mainly as 'that girl with the other Minun', but he gives a quiet grunt.] It's fine.

[Minun happily buzzes their cheeks together, then bounces around and races over to his friends trainer to climb up and check out the view from her shoulder. Really there isn't much more down here than an old, crusty, breaking apart stone slab with two steps and some bags shoved to the far corner.]

[ Asuka makes a quiet noise of surprise, but doesn't look too startled-- perhaps because she's used to it from Croissant, who is streaking back and forth between Vanitas and his trainer before he scoots up to claim her other shoulder. ]

[This guy, on the other hand, is sitting up on a ledge, typing away at one heck of a pace. It really hasn't taken him long to get used to that, and it's no surprise, though he has to stop every so often to cough. At the least it's muffled by the scarf Euphie bundled him in, which comes up high enough to cover his mouth...

Though really, it looks quite awkward, a pink scarf wrapped around the neckline of his coat. That dark, ominous hood and a pink scarf, very manly]

[Vanitas has been pretty aware of his "company" for the last hour, but since he hasn't said anything, Vanitas sure as crap doesn't care. But eventually, a loud enough cough prompts him to actually look up and see... a ridiculous pink scarf. The wearer wasn't female, he could tell from the tone of the coughing, so he wound up curling his upper lip into a partial sneer.]
