Ventus. South of town. I'll be waiting.
[Shortly after sending that text, Vanitas clicked his Gear shut and moved away from the front doors of the PokeCenter. It wouldn't be much longer until he was whole again, he knew nothing could stop him with Ventus so willing to speak with him; and this time, there shouldn't be any interference if what Ventus said was true.
Murkrow and Swablu will act as eyes in the air, at least, to let him know if it isn't; that his friends are following anyway, so he knows to act quicker if need be. Reaching without thinking to dig his fingers slightly at his clothing above a faint, fluttering heartbeat, he snorted and outright scowled even. Soon, he will have it all, be in control, and with all that power? Whatever was blocking his Unversed should be broken with the most powerful keyblade in all existence, especially at its creation.
So he will make his way down the street to eventually reach the edge of town on the south end, leaning against the frosty fence.]

Bolt!

Now. [Reaching with his free hand and grabbing a fistful of blond hair, he yanked hard.] I've waited long enough!
no subject
Ouch-
It's not gonna happen, why don't you get that?
[In moments Bolt's recovering and unleashing a surge of Thund
agaer on Vanitas]no subject
no subject
But it won't! What's so hard to accept about that?
no subject
[Outright throwing Ventus down, he dropped down to one knee in a near hover, he shifted the hand away from Ven's neck into shoving his chin upwards, fingers shoving at his nose as well.]
no subject
I told you, none of that stuff counts here!
[And Bolt's having none of this, zapping at Vanitas again with an angry little cry]
no subject
Maybe it needs a boost, unlike their worlds. Letting go almost too suddenly, Vanitas dragged Ven up into his arms in what seems like a hug for all of two seconds, before there was a solid, harsh punch in Ven's back. It's like hitting a TV; jump-starting a merging shouldn't be this ridiculous.]
no subject
I-I keep telling you-!
[That's it, he's fumbling for a pokéball and pressing a button before Vanitas can stop him, releasing Caprice. And for a trolling ghost that's known for a Cheshire grin, she's looking mighty displeased by this nonsense.
Meanwhile Bolt's bad news for both of those birds, sending sparks into the air with all his tiny, impotent Vanitas-induced rage]
We're like normal people here, Vanitas! Cut it out, or I'll make you!
no subject
Nothing is normal for us, Ventus -- [He makes a sort of wheeze sound, eyebrows knitting together as he dug his fingers a little harshly now.]
no subject
He doesn't want to have more marks to explain to Minnie...or hide from her]
Tell that to this place. If I could, don't you think I'd have used a sleep spell on you rather than get hurt?
no subject
Shut up. You may be normal here, but I'm not. [Stepping forward, approaching again, he's steeling himself for another round of trying.]
You may be able to wander off and do something else, but I can't. [A sharp thought slips through his mind, and it is the only reason his steps stop almost a little too abruptly; This is all I have.
Is that... really all he has?]
no subject
Who says you can't? Because so far it sounds like you're the only one.
[Despite all this, he wants to think Vanitas can do something more with himself. Ven didn't expect it to be easy, but he hadn't quite anticipated this either]

Even though I'm probably not gonna be for a while back home.

This place hasn't changed that I only have part of a heart; this body won't last to contain it and I'll -- [Disappear. Lose my place more than before. Cease to be.
Vanitas wound up stopping himself again, several paces away with an expression that is closely resembling when the X-blade slipped just out of his reach. Staring down at his hands like that was what he was recalling, he opened and closed his hand a few times before scowling sharply again.]
no subject
Just-just calm down. We'll...figure something out.
[As strange as that was to say. Vanitas was still a part of him, and he was hurting, and he was responsible for at least some of that]
no subject
[With it not happening, there's nothing.]
no subject
But who decided that? It wasn't me- and I don't think it was you. What's so important about that stupid weapon?
who do you think decided that, ven--
he knows, it's a rhetorical question
[And another step, what in the worlds is he supposed to do about this?]
no subject
It's what I was made for. [His voice grew quieter with that, brows furrowed and eyes pointed down towards the snow.]
Nothing else.

[Although perhaps fighter's not the best word to use, considering what sort of fighting he knows Vanitas for]
Find a new role, something you decide for yourself.
no subject
Something isn't right anymore. Funny how creatures that are unhuman can catch onto these things far quicker than people can.]
That's what I am, a fighter; it's what I was molded to be, stupid! It doesn't change just because you say it can!
