[While the video opens up with Minun's face being pressed up against the feed, the little Pokemon gives a hushed chitter, a somewhat worried look on his face. Pulling the Gear along the ground for a few moments, Minun props it up against a rock, pointing the feed across the basement where Vanitas could be seen.

It's a little hard to make out from waaaaaaaaaaay over here, but it looks like partial bath time? He's got his head dipped into an old bucket, scrubbing furiously at his hair for a few minutes longer before sitting up and flipping the wet spikes back.

Where they promptly start to fluff up again, despite being soaked.

On reaching up and discovering this, he lets out an incredibly irritated sound. Vanitas then reaches and digs into his bag nearby, sourly muttering something akin to 'enough of this', and draws out the little survival knife he picked up on his last pickpocketing adventure.

Grabbing a large hunk of spike, he hacks it off effortlessly, and promptly reaches for another.

Someone tell him it's a bad idea to cut his own hair.]

You're the one hackin' off all your hair and I'm the one who doesn't make sense?

[And suddenly, Merlin understands. He surveys the incomplete haircut, then suggests tentatively: ] Have you considered letting your hair growing longer? You could tie it back then.

They'll learn not to.

[Now that gets him to snort, flicking some wet hair off his fingers.] Most who know me would say I am.

[Pausing, he glances to the screen with a quiet, almost thoughtful look.] ... [Then looks away.] It hasn't grown any longer than this in years.

I don't want it to look like this anymore. It's simple enough. [Slices another large handful.]

That's extensive scarring. I wouldn't call that nothing.

It's nothing. [Vanitas almost growls it out, and by the tone, he's not all that willing to talk about it. He does look rather odd with two large spikes missing though.]

[ Asuka doesn't respond for a minute, and her face is unreadable. Then-- ]

You might want to find someone to cut your hair.

Why? [Deadpan expression, flicking some wet strands off his fingers.]

Because if it grows back after you've cut it like that, it's going to make your hair that much less manageable.

I don't blame you, really.

I wouldn't want hair that looked like a weapon of mass destruction either.

Really? [He tugs his own, longer hair ruefully, wishing it were the same for him] Well, I've heard there's something people use in their hair. It's not like the oil we'd use back home, but...stickier, I think? You could try slicking your hair back if it doesn't grow.

...Because an injured guy's really intimidating.

Shut up. I've healed. [Scowling, he's going to quit chopping his hair now, inspecting the current job with the reflection in the bucket.]

Do you really think it could possibly be less manageable? I soaked it and it still just flipped back up.

[Scratching his head and attempting to flatten a very stubborn cowlick, he grunted a little.] ... Maybe.

[That makes him pause before snorting and almost outright laughing.] Weapon of mass destruction, huh? [Thinking of the X-blades shape now...]

That's a tendency of thick hair. It can get worse.

I'd say, give that a try before you cut anymore of your hair. It couldn't hurt, right?

I guess. [But that cowlick he's arguing with really is asking to get cut. Vanitas is slowly starting to lift that knife again, staring at it intently through the reflection on the screen.]

Tch. [DISPLEASED VANITAS IS DISPLEASED at this newest development. Throwing the knife down at the ground, he glares unhappily at the reflection in the bucket.]

Keep doing that, and you'll not have enough hair to slick back by the time you get the oil. [Eyeballing that knife warily]

[Making a sour face, he lowers the knife though, instead just giving that cowlick a tug and attempt at flattening.] Fine, fine.

It really bothers you, doesn't it. Are you planning to stop wearing your helmet?
